PdaNet - turnkey solution for iPhone tethering

Finally there is a working solution for using iPhone as a modem for laptop. Slirp used to be a working, yet a bit complicated, solution, but it only worked with iPhone software version 1.x. Last month something called "PdaNet Wifi Router" appeared on Cydia. Fortunately this seems to be the solution.

In brief: just

install PdaNet from Cydia
Create computer-to-computer wlan from your Laptop
Connect to that wlan from iPhone
Start PdaNet
You are on the net. Everything works (not just http).
