Quite a Wave

It seems that I have been under a rock for couple of weeks as I have not had enough time to watch Google I/O presentation about Google Wave. Now when I have seen the demo I must say that "re-inventing email" shows a lot of potential. In fact - it shows so much potential that it starts to scare me a bit - it has a potential of locking all of human kind to Google.... What do you think?

PS. Did I mention that Wave is built in GWT? As Vaadin is also built on top of GWT, maybe there are some nice deeper integration possibilities?
